All prices on our website are listed in AUD $.
At Basic Blue, we gladly accept the following return options, we do not accept refunds.
- Store Credit
- Exchange for any item from our online store of equal or lesser value
You may request a return within 30 days from the date you placed your order.
Please note:
- All sale item purchases are final. Sale items are not eligible for exchange or store credit.
- Orders placed using a discount code are not eligible for a refund. These orders may be returned for store credit or exchange only.
Return Policy Guidelines:
To be eligible for return, items must be:
- In original condition: new, unused, unwashed
- Free from deodorant marks or stains
- With original tags and hygienic liners intact
We kindly ask that you take care when trying on items, as returns that do not meet these conditions will be sent back at the sender’s expense.
Once your return or exchange has been approved, please securely package your item and include your original receipt (proof of purchase).
We recommend obtaining a tracking number for your return to ensure proof of delivery.
Additional Information:
- Return shipping is at the customer’s expense, unless the item received is incorrect in style, colour, or size.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
A Note on Returning Your Wetsuit:
If you're returning a wetsuit, please fold it neatly with the zipper exposed and not in contact with any neoprene surface. If returning multiple pieces, ensure neoprene items are not touching one another to avoid marking.
Place your wetsuit back into the original packaging where possible. The neoprene surface is delicate and can mark or crease easily if not handled carefully.
You do not need to return any thank you cards that were included in your original order. The hang tag must remain attached, but please make sure all tags are laid flat to avoid imprinting or marking the wetsuit surface.
Loss or Damage:
We strongly recommend using a tracked or registered postal service when returning your item(s), as Basic Blue cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged returns.
Please double-check your shipping address when placing or returning an order. Basic Blue is not liable for loss due to an incorrect or incomplete address.
We are also not responsible for any damages during shipment, or for locating lost or stolen packages once they have been marked as delivered — this applies to both domestic and international orders.
If you'd like to add extra services such as signature on delivery or shipping insurance, please include a note on your order and we’ll contact you via email to confirm availability and pricing.
Faulty Items:
Goods are considered faulty only if a manufacturing defect is present. All Basic Blue wetsuits undergo thorough quality control and are only shipped if they meet our standards.
We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse or general wear and tear. Please follow our care instructions carefully, as we cannot accept returns for items that have been damaged due to incorrect care.
